A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect and warn people through visual and audio appliances when smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other emergencies are present. These alarms may be activated automatically from smoke detectors, and heat detectors or may also be activated via manual fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points. Alarms can be either motorised bells or wall mountable sounders or horns. They can also be sounder strobes which sound an alarm and also provide a visual alert to the alarm activation.

Fire Alarm Monitoring with Raven Fire & Security
Raven Fire & Security recognises and can help with the increasingly more common requirement of insurance companies to stipulate fire alarm remote monitoring for commercial properties. Fire alarm monitoring connects your fire detection system to an alarm receiving centre. This enables them to call specified keyholders in the event of the fire alarm activating.
